Dr. Sergio has spent most of his career working at some of Italy’s leading medical institutions. These include the National Cancer Institute in Milan (Gastrointestinal Surgery and Liver Transplantation Unit), Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza, one of the country’s foremost centers for wound care and tissue engineering, and the Hospital of Merate-Lecco, where he served in both the General Surgery Department and the Emergency Room.

Before joining Al Das Medical Clinic and Al Zahra Hospital, Dr. Sergio worked in Dubai as a surgeon and medical director at a private clinic from April 2016 onward. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Sergio led two nonprofit surgical missions to India in 2011 and 2012.
